This hat is named after one of the most selfless dude’s I know. Aside from the fact that he’s dedicated his life to helping all of us raise our children, as a public school teacher, he’s also loaded his personal “life plate” with generous helpings of volunteer work and fundraising efforts. As if that’s not enough, he’s also a high school basketball coach! So, combine that with the most important part, the part that made it a no-brainer to name a hat after him, he’s one “heck” of a husband and father. I know a couple things about this guy for sure, the first is how passionate he is first and foremost, to raising his 3 beautiful daughters. Aside from his beautiful wife Melissa, them 3 little Heckathorn girls are front and center in his life. Secondly, if you can dream it, Casey will do whatever it takes to help you accomplish it. That’s hard to come by these days. I’m forever grateful for his willingness to serve in all aspects of his life. A rarity, in today’s world, but a reality in his. So if you plan on trying to fill Casey’s size 10.5 shoes, you better pack more than a big foot and a big lunch because it’s gonna take a lot of both.
So, Coach Casey Heckathorn, my hats off to not only you, but Mr. & Mrs. Heckathorn for raising a true southern gentlemen, even though it was accomplished way up in Michigan.
