How can anybody accurately put into words what their dad means to them? I know I can’t. I have been hunting, fishing, Talladega-ing, baby delivering, and about everywhere else this life has taken me at one time or another with my Old Man. If not together, no experience seems to be experienced to the fullest without “the call to Pops”! He has supported whatever crazy season of life I am in, and not only is my number one fan, but honestly believes I could do anything and achieve anything in life I desire. That’s exactly what a man needs too, someone that regardless of the situation, truly believes in you. So, Jim Strickland, whenever you see our logo, just know if you were still running the #51 Late Model Stock car, as soon as you pulled into the pits or as soon as the Wrecker truck pulled you in, when you remove that Simpson Darth Vader helmet, I’d be there to toss you this hat to cover up that gray hair and let you know I love you and we’d get em next time. I love you Pop, and I pray that one day I would be half the man you think I am.
